Advanced Data Recovery Services Computer Science Labs’ Advanced Data Recovery Service gives you access to unique recovery techniques that can recover data from devices that until now have been considered unrecoverable. Our Research and Development department collaborates with The Manchester University to bring new data recovery tools and techniques to the data recovery, computer forensics and IT industry. Our research and development teams have found new solutions which can fully recover data from drives that are particularly troublesome, for example some Seagate hard drives have integrated acoustic spacers into their architecture. These spacers make it extremely difficult to perform platter swaps whilst maintaining the alignment of the platters. Therefore many drives that have suffered mechanical failures would be deemed unrecoverable using conventional methods and techniques. Computer Science Labs’ newest development, SERT can recover data from these drives. SERT is included in our Advanced Data Recovery Service; our technicians will facilitate your recovery by undertaking the mechanical recovery process on your behalf in our certificated laboratory facilities.
