This training is intended to introduce clients to the concept Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Firmware (FW), its role and architecture together with an appreciation of techniques for FW diagnosis and rectification.

Introduction to Hard Disk Drive Technology
Online 2 Hours
The course is designed as an introduction to the design, function and operation of Hard Disk Drives (HDD’s). Also covered are the types and nature of drive failures, their causes and symptoms, and the implications for data recovery. This serves as a comprehensive precursor to any HDD Data Recovery training.

This training is intended to introduce clients to the concept of RAID multiple Hard Disk Drive (HDD) systems, their function, application and design together with an appreciation of the relative merits of the various RAID types and the criteria for their selection.
