Latest News SERT Demonstration Event for the Public Sector 10/02/2010 Computer Science Labs will be demonstrating the SERT tool and technique to University and Law Enforcement personnel at an event in our UK laboratory. The attendees will see the complete SERT solution in action, and how it can be applied to various drive failures for different investigative purposes. SERT has been successful in facilitating forensic recovery of evidence data from drives that have failed due to seized spindles, even in instances where the hard drive has suffered fire/smoke damage. The public sector has shown a great deal of interest in SERT, as it can be applied in cases where evidence data would otherwise be irrecoverable, including scenarios where drives have been maliciously damaged. The next available demonstration event for data recovery professionals will be held at our laboratory in March. |
