HDD Component Replacement Tools
These tools have been specifically designed to ease the task of replacing the essential components of Hard Disk Drives.
The set comprises of:
Hard Drive Platform
Designed to hold two drives rigidly and securely, the platform places them in the optimum position to allow components to be transferred precisely and easily between drives. The platform adjusts for the full range of Desktop or Notebook drives.
Platter Exchange Tools
These securely clamp to the platters with access to the securing screws allowing precise and safe removal for inspection or transfer. When used with multiple platter drives, relative platter alignment is maintained affording the best chance of successful data recovery. This Premium Pack includes two tools for 3.5” desktop platters and two for 2.5” notebook platters, allowing ease of exchange between drives.
Magnet Removal Tool
This allows the extremely powerful head actuator magnets employed in todays drives to be removed comfortably and precisely whilst reducing the risk of damage to the magnets or other drive components.
