This training is intended to introduce clients to the concept Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Firmware (FW), its role and architecture together with an appreciation of techniques for FW diagnosis and rectification.
Learning Objectives:
- To provide an overview of the role of HDD firmware;
- To examine the basic architecture and configuration of FW;
- To outline the techniques for diagnosing and rectifying firmware failures;
